Rowland Burkitt Chartered Surveyors were instructed to act on behalf of Thomas the Baker for the duration of the 2017 Rating List.

As with all of our clients with larger portfolios, we produced a recommendations report at the beginning of the rating list and this is under constant review. To date we have successfully reduced the Rates Liability of the main bakery by 10% and there are a number of appeals pending.

A comprehensive understanding of each Lease is required to ensure that notices are served in the correct manner and in a timely fashion. We also advise our client on other matters related to occupancy such as repair obligations.
